"The Case of the Four-Legged Friend" by Becca Wierwille

About this book:

“A camp kid who loves big words. A large dog of unknown origin.
Together, can they find the dog’s home before he’s sent away for good?
Ten-year-old Scout is reading a mystery novel when a dog springs from the forest and steals her dictionary.
Then he eats it, page by page. And everything changes.
Scout doesn’t want to like this dictionary-digesting dog. But somehow he works his way into her heart.
Now she’s on a mission to find where he came from—before the camp director sends him to the animal shelter.”

My personal Rating-

Ooooh, this was so cute, y’all! I’ve been looking forward to this series ever since I first heard about them and I’m so glad this first book met my expectations! I really liked Scout and her mystery-loving brain, but also Barnaby and his cuddling cuteness. There was a cameo of Kimmy from the author’s first book, “Road Trip Rescue”, which was such a fun added detail! I can’t wait to continue this series and see more of this detective duo!

See y’all on Friday with a new review!
