"Katy's Decision" by Kim Vogel Sawyer

About this book:

“In the final book of the Katy Lambright Series, Katy's worlds collide. Shelby Nuss, Katy's best friend outside of her sect, breaks her ankle right before leaving with her family on a mission trip. Unable to travel, Shelby decides to stay with Katy on her farm, which delights Katy to no end. Finally, parts of her world are coming together! But when Shelby is in Schellberg full-time, things with Katy's other best friend, Annika, once again become strained, and Katy's issues with Caleb Penning get worse. Added to this, the town elders will soon decide if Katy can continue on in the secular high school next year---soon, Katy may be forced to decide what world she really belongs in.”

Okay, I think this one really made the series for me—an I’m in complete denial that this in the last book of the series! That ending was great and made me squee with them. “Katy’s Decision” was quite humorous with three guys vying for her attention—and I’m happy to say that my ship won. ;)

Except Katy’s Mennonite community prohibits dancing as well as fancy dresses and makeup, and her father would not approve.
When an opportunity arises that could allow her to attend without her father knowing, Katy must decide: Will she hold tight to her convictions, or will she sacrifice her principles for one special night?”

This third book had more Spiritual Content than the last one, so that was nice. I admit that I rushed through reading this book, so that I could find out what would happened quicker. I wanted to make sure Katy would do the right thing. ;)

I really felt bad for Katy in this book. I could understand where she was coming from, but it didn’t make her “wrong thoughts/moments” less painful to read. (Second hand embarrassment from a character and all that. ;) )
