"Final Deposit" by Lisa Harris

About this book:

  “"BECOME AN INSTANT MILLIONAIRE!"
It was just another scam, sent via email to thousands. Yet Lindsey Taylor's elderly father had fallen for it and lost his life savings. He'd even gone off to claim his promised fortune. Lindsey knows he'll never see a penny. Worse, she's worried she'll never see him again. Frantic, she turns to financial security expert Kyle Walker. Kyle has his own vendetta: he lost his brother to an internet mail-order bride scheme. Though he's promised to help Lindsey find her father, first he has to get them close to the scam artists. And the closer they get, the more danger they find....”

My personal Rating-
Not my favorite Lisa Harris book, but for a Love Inspired Suspense book is wasn’t bad and I enjoyed all the Spiritual Content. It was a bit strange to see my name so many times, hahaha! Because this was published in 2008, there were a few parts that seemed dated or a little too “the more you know” about the internet scamming. It was an easy read, but not very suspenseful.

My personal Rating-
This book feels very connected to the previous book, but because the names are all different, it gets quite confusing with it being written by the same author. Those notes aside, I liked Elise and her heart for others and making them laugh. She did have to learn about weeping with those who are weeping, but that’s an important lesson shown in this middle-grade read.
