The last chapter was good! I hope it will continue the rest of the way through the series, as Holly has really been frustrating me so far. Especially in this book. I can’t say that she’s a great role model for young girls, though, so it might be best for a parent or trusted adult to read this series with or before the girl.

Holly can be very dramatic and she jumps to conclusions quite often, but she does a bit better in this book. I appreciate seeing her try to witness to her father, stepbrother, and stepmother.

Still not my favorite series, personally. It could be entertaining for younger readers, but Holly needs to work on her emotions and not randomly getting mad at others.
