This was a fabulous book! I honestly wanted to quote all of it! The wisdom is this book is amazing! I personally would recommend this book to every girl who’s ever had a crush—and then read it at least once every year. I’ve been in awe of Robin Jones Gunn ever since I read the first Christy Miller book (which I’ll be re-reading and reviewing soon!) “Spoken For” made me even more in awe of her. Reading about both authors’ relationships with their husbands (and how their guys proposed!) was incredibly sweet but learning more about their Faiths and how we are Christ’s bride was inspiring. 

  “If you were you ask ten couples how they got engaged, each of them would have a different story. If you asked ten Christians how they came to know Christ, they would have different stories as well. God treats us as individuals. He knows what makes our hearts sing. He knows our love language. Jesus orchestrates His “proposal” moment with us and knows what it takes to woo us. He desires for us to rise up and leave all other pursuers.
