"Vendetta" by Lisa Harris

About this book:

“No one needs to push Nikki Boyd to excel on the Tennessee Missing Person Task Force. The case of her own missing sister, still unsolved after ten years, is the driving force in her work. When a Polaroid photo of a missing girl shows up at a crime scene, Nikki quickly recognizes similarities to the past. The closer she gets to the abductor, the more she feels that this case is getting personal, and that she is not the hunter at all--but actually the one being hunted.
With this explosive first book in the new Nikki Boyd Files, Lisa Harris takes readers on a fast-paced pursuit of justice that will have them holding their breath until the heart-stopping finish.”

My personal Rating-

Much more intense than her previous series, author Lisa Harris takes on a serious topic in her new series: abductions. This wasn’t the best book to read at night, that’s for sure. At first I was confused with who’s-who due to the back cover not saying much, but I eventually caught on. This book isn’t for the faint with it’s heavy topics of abductions, killing & murders, a warning to my fellow teens. Like I said, pretty intense. There was quite a bit of Spiritual Content and not much Sexual Content, which was nice. I most likely will continue this series, but I do hope the next book has at least a little less serial killers, murders & shooting people.

See y’all on Monday with Teen Week!
