About this book:
“Mandie
Shaw loves to visit her new friend, Faith, at Miss Abigail's big house. There
they can play with each other and admire all the beautiful things. One thing
the girls can't touch is the china cabinet in the front hall. It's full of
precious china that only Miss Abigail is allowed to handle.
But when a beloved teapot turns up
missing, does it mean a thief has broken into Miss Abigail's house? Will Miss
Abigail have to tell the people of Charley Gap that they should all lock their
doors? Mandie's determined to find the answer -- and the missing teapot -- in
time for Miss Abigail's big Christmas party.”
Series: Book #3 in “Young Mandie
Mysteries” series. (Book #1’s
review Here! and #2 Here!) {This series is connected to the original Mandie
series, Mandie is younger in this series but this series was written later.
Also is a bit confusing for those who have read the Mandie series first. See
my review of Book 1 for my thoughts on this.}
Spiritual Content- A Scripture is quoted; A few mentions of prayers &
praying; A couple Prayers; A mention of a blessing.
Negative Content- Minor cussing including: a ‘shucks’; Mentions of a fire,
deaths, & burn injuries (Mandie mentions that it would be terrible to be
scarred for life); A couple mentions of gossip.
Sexual Content- A few mentions of
a sister sneaking off to go meet a boy.

{The
ratings are lower as the girl gets older because of the simple plot-line, but
is clean nevertheless}
While this “Young Mandie
Mystery” series is confusing for those who have read the “Mandie” books,
it still has the cute charm that the main series has.
See y’all on Friday with a new
review!
