I was really disappointed by this
book, which is sad because it’s the last one in the series. I typically would
have liked the mystery of hidden treasure, but the mean bully boy was so
annoying, it was hard to get into the mystery. (I also don’t understand why the
author included McKenzie’s wonderings about if God was disappointed in her for
not being like Elizabeth, when that fear was never discussed or reassured to
her that she doesn’t have to be like Elizabeth.) McKenzie’s aunt and uncle were
no help in this story and it wasn’t my favorite for the series. Still clean,
which I appreciate.
See y’all on Friday with a new
review!
