"A Wild Goose Chase Christmas" by Jennifer AlLee

About this book:

  “Upon her grandmother's death, Izzy Fontaine finds herself in possession of a Wild Goose Chase pattern quilt that supposedly leads to a great treasure. Of course, once the rest of the family finds out about the "treasure map," they're determined to have a go at the treasure themselves. And, if that weren't enough, Max Logan, a local museum curator, contacts Izzy and says that Grandma Isabella promised him the quilt.
  What is it about this quilt that makes everyone want it? Is Izzy on a wild goose chase of her own, or a journey that will lead her to the treasure her grandmother intended?”

{Add ½ to a full star for those in Public or Private School}
This is a very pre-teen-ish book with Lexi’s writing style about her problems at school and with her siblings, but it was also very cute. I’m personally giving this book three stars mainly because of the couple of chapters where Lexi was fangirling over a Christian boy band; I was so tickled at that for some odd reason! The book had a unique layout (similar to a devotional but had a fiction story with it) and I also thought it was fun that the text color was pink. :)
