"I Heart Bloomberg" by Melody Carlson

About this book:

  “Kendall’s managed to wrangle her grandmother’s house—free and clear—except for the rules. No male roommates. But that’s ok, with the right ad she’ll pull in some girls, their rent and if she’s lucky, she won’t have to go to work any time soon.
  For their part, Anna, Lelani, and Megan all have their reasons for wanting to move in: Anna has got to get out from under her overprotective parents; Lelani can’t take another day in her aunt’s tiny crackerbox house overflowing with toddlers and Megan needs a place free of her current roommate from Hades. Though they come with assorted extra baggage filled with broken hearts and dreams, they will discover they also have a vast array of hidden strengths.

My personal Rating-

Not the cleanest and definitely not the best by this author. Kendall really got on my nerves, but there’s room for her improvement for the rest of the series. She’s the Taylor in this series. Not really one book I enjoyed due to some content and comments.

My personal Rating-

{Add ½ for older girls interested in homeland security.}
While in the past, the more recent books of Lisa Harris have been about drug trafficking and kidnappings, this stand-alone novel took a different topic of cyberattacks & cybersecurity. I personally find this topic interesting and found myself really enjoying this novel. The faith content was great (though, some would probably say it was too ‘preachy’, I happened to like it), and I liked how clean it was for a romantic suspense (in both genres). Also, that cover is stunning.

My personal Rating-
This was such a cute book! There was great faith content and I really liked the main character. Lark was awesome, just like her name! There was a bit too much kissing in my opinion, though, so that lowered the rating a bit.
