"The Last Bride" by Beverly Lewis

About this book:

“Of her Old Order parents' five daughters, Tessie Miller is the last to marry. She has her heart set on Amishman Marcus King, but Tessie's father opposes the match.
Impetuously, Tessie and Marcus elope to the English world, then return to Hickory Hollow to live as singles, trusting they'll convince the Millers to give their love a chance over time. But when the unthinkable happens, Tessie faces the almost-certain censure of the People. Will she find a reason for hope in spite of her desperate plight?”

High School Teens-
My Personal Rating-
(and a half)
If you read other’s reviews of this book not all of them are very kind, because they’re looking at it from an adult Point of View not a 18/19 year old which Tessie is. I found “The Last Bride” very interesting and the plot twist blew me away! I mean, I did not see that coming!

We still haven't heard from Beckie S. our winner yet! Beckie, please message us at booksforchristiangirls (at) yahoo (dot) com or on our Facebook! If we don't hear from you by Wednesday we'll have to pick another winner!

*BFCG may (Read the review to see) recommend this book by this author. It does not mean I recommend all the books by this author.
