About this book:

“Chelsea Morris has always been responsible, dependable, and focused on her dreams of fashion design, a dream that will officially begin come fall, when she leaves for college in New York City. As she settles into her role as the lead designer for the local summer stock theater group, she decides to make the most of her last summer in North Carolina. But with her best friend Emily busy working late and spending time with Zander, and tensions with Chelsea's boyfriend, Todd, running high, the summer she envisioned seems to be falling flat.
Then Dylan joins the latest summer production. There's something about the college boy that makes her feel free and alive, and soon she's broken up with Todd, and is sneaking out late to meet Dylan at parties and breaking rules at the playhouse. But before she knows it, her exciting nights are interfering with her job, her role on the play, as well as her relationship with Emily and with her parents. Worse, Chelsea finds herself feeling more and more estranged from God.
As the summer becomes wilder than she ever dreamed, Chelsea must decide if her heart is leading her in the right direction after all.”

“Roadside Assistance” is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read, I freaked when I heard about a sequel for it, then finding that the sequel would have another book making it a trilogy, I was, needless to say, excited. I had many emotions while reading “Miles from Nowhere”. (Most of the times I wanted to shake Chelsea to wake her up, but since that really wasn’t possible...) It was hard for me to read about Chelsea doing things I know she normally wouldn’t do and since I couldn’t relate to the peer pressure, my rating was lower. But that doesn’t change that I still enjoyed it! How Miss Amy Clipston does it I’m still not quite sure, but whenever I read her books they always have me exclaiming or sighing or running around the room. ;)
To me, you have to read this series in order...so, who wants to win a copy of “Roadside Assistance”?

At her invitation, potential brides begin to arrive in Poetry. There’s only one problem: Belinda doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing and all the brides marry the wrong men! One client is particularly unhappy. Georg Kaufman, the local barber, has lost more than one prospective wife to Belinda’s fumbled attempts. For some reason, she just can’t seem to find Georg’s "perfect match," though it’s not for lack of trying. Is there a poetic ending in store for Georg— and for Belinda, herself?”

What a super-fun, imaginative book! Oh, this was such fun! I’ll be honest and I say that the author is a very sweet friend of mine—but this review is not biased at all! (Y’all should know from my reviews that I speak, er, type, my mind and thoughts on a book...good or bad. ;) ) I truly would recommend this book even for girls and boys under the age of 9 as a chapter-a-night kind of story. I’m so looking forward to read the future adventures of Georgina!

This was a well written book, but I, for some reason, couldn’t connect to it as well as I was hoping. For being set in the Pre/Early Medieval days, it was pretty clean! I appreciated that. The action scenes and tumbling parts were detailed in a way you know either the author did it herself or she researched like crazy. I was confused about John and who he was but I finally got it by the end. My main deal with this novel was all the lovey-dovey stuff, it was just a bit too much! But, I plan on reading the next book in the series when it comes out.
