2nd Birthday Wrap-up & Double Giveaway!

Hi y’all!
First, let me get my mind-blown-is-this-really-happening-i-can’t-believe-it speech out of the way, then we’ll have what y’all are really here for: The Giveaways. :)
So, wow. I want to say so much, but first Thank you. Thank you to everyone who’s reading this. To those who have commented (Those are the best! Then I actually know that actual people are reading this. There’s no feeling like that!) To authors and publishers who have sent me books. To the parents who trust my reviews. To everyone reading this blog post right now. Just Thank You.
I’ve had views from the United States, Russia, Canada, India, France, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden, Ukraine, Poland, Australia, Philippines, United Kingdom, Turkey, China, Italy, Norway, Japan, and so many more...this is just off the top of my head!
On April 10th, 2014 BFCG hit 7,000 page-views. That was just plain nuts to me! Unbelievable! Yesterday on April 10th 2015, we hit 37,000 page-views. Uh, what?! That’s 30,000 page-views in one year. One year! Exactly! I can’t even.
37,000 page-views. Over a 1,000 followers by social media. Over 250 posts including almost 250 reviews.
So can you see where my mind is absolutely blown?

Annnnd, I’m now realizing that we might have some new guests on this site! (To those who aren’t new, stick with me or scroll down, I’ll meet you down there. ;) ) Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! I know you are most likely only here for the giveaways as well (that is the good stuff, after all, not all this shocked-is-this-really-happening reactions), but still! Welcome to BFCG! Most likely this fabulous picture made you curious about free books (!) but let me tell you what BFCG is.

'Books for Christian Girls' is a blog dedicated to finding Christian books for Christian girls ages 9-19. BFCG is different from our competitors, because we write down all the Spiritual, Negative & Sexual content in every book we review. (Don’t let this ‘we’ stuff fool you, it’s just little ol’ me running this site. ;) ) You can read more about BFCG here and here!

*{*Just a note: You can click on the cover of any book in this blog post to see the review and go to the giveaway. Words that are blue (or purple-ish) are a link. Click it to go to what I’m talking about. :) *}*

This blog turned Two years old on Thursday! But our celebration started that Friday before! We reviewed “Capture of the Bible Bandits” by Esther Seim. A super fun adventure for anyone of any age! Here’s something y’all might have not known: Esther started & runs Clash 4 Kids. A site that finds Book & Movies for Girls & Boys ages 8-12. C4K and BFCG just happen to be partners. (You can even read about yours-truly Here! I promise that someday I’ll send sweet, patient Esther a picture of myself. It’s just a bit challenging as being a photographer I’m normally behind the camera. ;) )

Monday was our first Giveaway day, and we reviewed a new favorite of mine, “Love Finds You in Poetry, Texas” by Janice Hanna (also known as Janice Thompson). We’re also giving away a copy! Click the cover to read our review and enter the giveaway!

http://booksforchristiangirls.blogspot.com/2015/04/miles-from-nowhere-by-amy-clipston.html

Tuesday. Oh, Tuesday! It’s no secret that Amy Clipston is a favorite author of mine. (Like the time I met her! Oh! And I’ll be meeting her and a bunch of other authors in May at the RT Convention, is anyone else going?) “Roadside Assistance” will forever be a favorite (if not The Favorite) teen book of mine. Just, yes. So much yes! I reviewed the third book in the series this day, but you can read all three reviews and enter the giveaway for Book #1 by clicking the cover.

http://booksforchristiangirls.blogspot.com/2015/04/elsies-endless-wait-by-martha-finley.html

Wednesday we reviewed a classic Christian book. Or what I’ve always been told is a Classic Christian book (and be honest, how many of y’all knew there are Classic Christian books?). “Elsie’s Endless Wait” (based off the ones written by Martha Finley) has reviews of those who loved it and those who honestly don’t. You be the judge and read more (& enter to win a copy!) by clicking the cover.

http://booksforchristiangirls.blogspot.com/2015/04/premiere-by-melody-carlson-giveaway.html

Thursday was a staple. Or at least, what I’ve always considered a staple in the Christian YA/Teen market. Melody Carlson was the first author I ever read as a teen wanting to find more Christian books featuring girls my age. Seems like I needed to a review and giveaway one of her many books by now! Click the cover to read & enter!

Oh goodness. Friday had me laughing so hard I was crying. Janice Thompson has a way with crazy plots, and she somehow makes them better than I ever possible. And you just have to love Texas accents. *wink, wink*

And now...what you all have been waiting for. (Or possibly scrolled down for. ;) )
I’ve reviewed these two books a few weeks ago, but I enjoyed them so much that I just had to giveaway a copy of each!
You can click on the cover to read the review, but the Rafflecopter is right below it. :)

  8. Back on January 20th you emailed me that I'd won a copy of "A Mother's Secret" by Amy Clipston from a give away you were doing. I'd gotten locked out of that account at the time you messaged me, but got it straightened out and emailed you the contact information for sending the book, but I have not heard anything from you. In that email I also gave two other email addresses, as quicker ways to reach me. Any chance that we can get this whole thing straightened out? You can PM me on FB (Linda Walker Morgan) or you can use this email to get me quickly: mslafate@yahoo.com Thanks!

    2. Hello!
I apologize for not replying to your e-mail! I had thought I did! Sadly, you didn't send your address in the two weeks allowed, so I had to re-draw a name. But, please feel free to enter any of the giveaways we have going! (And if you win one, I'll know how to contact you!) :)
      Have a wonderfully Blessed week!
