"The Rightful Owner" by Emily Thomas

About this book:

“Anne and Wendy decide to organize a used books sale to raise money for the library. As Anne is sorting through a box of donations, she discovers a first edition of Edgar Allen Poe's 'Tales of the Grotesque & Arabesque.' The book is beautiful and, Anne suspects, very valuable. Clearly a mistake has been made, and she decides to find out who it belongs to. After an appraiser announces the book's worth, Anne is besieged by townspeople claiming it it theirs. How will she ever find the rightful owner? Meanwhile, Ben has become enthralled with a children's book series called Coastal Club, to the point that he would rather read than do anything else. Anne has begun to worry about him, but she also has to keep an eye on Liddie, whose game of 'trading treasures' with her friends starts to drift out of control.”

My personal Rating-
While I’ve never read an Edgar Allen Poe book and have no plans to do so, I found this mystery to be interesting, but I especially liked all the parts with Anne’s kids, Ben and Liddie. They’re so cute!

See y’all on Monday with a new review!
