Meeting Amy Clipston & One-year-Giveaway!

Hi y’all!
Today was a very special day! We met Mrs. Amy Clipston & this blog ‘Books for Christian Girls’ is one year old! Yep! A double celebration! My parents and I drove (well, my Daddy drove us. ;)  ) to the Texas Library Convention earlier today and wow! I’ve never seen so many people talking about books! It was so cool! I had already mapped out which booths I wanted to visit, so we only visited the two Christian Publishers there. At the Zondervan/Zonderkids/Blink booth Mrs. Amy Clipston was signing books and taking pictures:

At the Tyndale booth, {we just had to ask how to say “Tyndale” (My Mom and I have a debate going on with how you say “Tyndale”, we ask… and she was right. ;) It’s “TEN-dale”. I guess Mothers do know everything. ;) )} and Author Allison Pittman was signing her new book “All for a Story” (review up sometime this month!).

And now it's time for our One-year-old birthday giveaway!

What we’re giving away:
*a signed copy of “Roadside Assistance” by Amy Clipston
*a copy of “If the Shoe Fits” by Sandra D. Bricker
*five different signed bookmarks from Amy Clipston
*two different bookmarks from Melody Carlson
*a “Destination Unknown” luggage tag
*a signed pamphlet with all of Beverly Lewis’ books  and
*an Amy Clipston pen & Kidney Foundation Bracelet (An organization that is very near to Mrs. Clipston heart)

Pretty awesome, right?! :D Let’s start the giveaway!
a Rafflecopter giveaway

I’d also like to say “Thank you!” to the authors and publishers for this fun stuff! The only thing I bought was the copy of “Roadside Assistance”!
And “Thank you!” to the wonderful readers of this blog! I still find it hard to believe I’m not just talking to the web--but real (!real!) people are reading and sharing this blog! Amazing! So “Thank you!!”

Y’all have a wonderfully blessed week and keep sharing this blog! ;)

  2. I am so excited. I just found your blog via Soul Inspirationz. I have been needing a go-to source for my daughter since she doesn't take my word on books. I would love for you to post a review on Jeffrey Overstreet's Auralia's Colors.

  10. Congrats on your one year anniversary! So awesome you are being found for all the hard work you do to raise awareness for good reads for Christian girls. I can't enter your giveaway since I'm outside the US but wanted to congratulate you regardless!
